2 cups  all-purpose flour

1 Tbs  baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 Tbs  sugar

1/4 cup Crisco

½ -3/4 cup milk

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2. In a bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar with fork. Blend in Crisco, to resemble coarse meal. Add milk until dough sticks together, and pulls away from side of bowl. Roll out to ½ inch thick on a floured surface. Cut into 1 ½ inch rounds. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 10-15 minutes to a golden brown.
